A life-like replica of fried egg on toast. The egg itself a puzzle, is made from amarello and sycamore, and sits in a sapele tray shaped like curled burnt toast. Size approx.170mm. x 110mm. Puzzle pieces are approx. 8mm. thick.

Approx. 125mm. dia. coffee cup and saucer in iroko with a light band around the edge. It is inset with an American walnut puzzle and a swirl of sycamore cream. The lacewood spoon rests in a hole in the cream. It comes with two sycamore sugar cubes on the saucer. The puzzle is a single layer with pieces approx. 10mm. thick.

Approx. 100mm. dia. coffee cup and saucer in ash with a band around the edge made of pear wood. It is inset with a 3 dimensional puzzle in American walnut with two mints on the saucer, one half eaten.

“Wafer Thin”

The salami slice appears wafer thin but is in fact a tray of puzzle pieces (7-8mm thick) made from 3 different woods. The main salami has a flat base and is solid. It has the same pattern as the slice and therefore provides the solution to what is a difficult puzzle! A detailed knife made of 3 woods lies alongside. Size approx. 150mm x 120mm.

“Tea and Biscuits”

Approx. 150mm. dia. tea cup and saucer in ash with an iroko band around the edge. The tea is a layer of pear with a lacewood spoon resting in a hole. One biscuit is American walnut with a sycamore sandwich and the 'jammy dodger' is beech with a sycamore sandwich and a tulipwood 'jam'. The tea puzzle is a single layer with pieces approx. 10mm. thick. Biscuit pieces approx. 5mm.

“Time Slipping Away”

This sloping clock, with a distorted face oozing out at the bottom, has been influenced by Salvador Dali's clocks. The clock measures approx. 180mm. x 110mm. and is made of sapele and sycamore with ebony hands and time dots. Puzzle pieces are approx. 8mm. in depth with the ebony pieces in slight relief.
